Welcome to Krystal Brown Designs LLC!

As the owner and operator (based in NM), I’d like to share a bit with you about myself, and how I came to launch my specialty furniture company. In 2020 when in search of inspiration for a special housewarming gift for my partner, the idea to make a resin dining room table popped into my mind. While I have dabbled in wood creations in the past,  I had never taken on a large project. I just happened to know of a local wood shop where I could choose the type of wood, and receive instructions on how to make and build the piece. What I did not know is how much I wood enjoy the entire process, from the more laborious parts like debarking and sanding, to the more creative parts, like choosing the wood and playing with the resin color. I enjoyed it so much so that I left my job, and decided to create furniture pieces as my full time career. 

In creating distinct, one-of-a-kind pieces,  I take great pride in supporting local small business’s whenever possible, and I use only reclaimed wood. My goal is to success and sustainable business with minimal waste, and to design pieces that will last for generations!

Who would know, that what started out as a gift idea, would turn into a true life passion? There is nothing like the joy I receive when my clients, family members, and friends are thrilled with their finished pieces!
